Is someone going to man up and get one of these? That's a *very* good price.

If I was building an S for the track I'd have one of these in a shot, mounted to a standard engine.

Probably not a good idea for the show cars BTW.

Are they straight cut gears? Are you in the realms of trailering the car with one of these fitted, due to noise and hassle?

Yep, straight cut but it wasn't that bad in my brother's stripped out rally car.

That said, I was concentrating on not being sick as I was tweaking his flat shift settings on a laptop while we were hurtling down country lanes

They're not nice in traffic either but if you're only driving to and from tracks I reckon it would be bearable.
