Finally got a speeding ticket, kinda bummed. 60 in a 40, the cop was very quick, polite and didn't hassle me at all. I think the tie helped with that one The whole thing took 5 minutes. I was going way over 60 but he was nice enough to lower it so I wouldn't have to pay $95 or more. I'm just glad he didn't see me sooner I would have probably lost my license.

Is it worth it to go to driving school? I can't really afford to pay more insurance but I don't want to waste my money on traffic school if my insurance will go up anyway.

sorry to hear what happened..were you in a hurry?? well my first ticket was somewhat like that...gopt pulled over doing 43 on a 30 in Roselle. Cop was nice enough to let me pass with a mail-in 75 dollar ticket to get my DL back. It's nice being a girl...sometimes

 

Ah yeah, I was kinda in a hurry and kept ignoring that little voice in my head telling me to slow down. I was supposed to have a meeting with the big boss today and I overslept. I was afraid I was going to be late, but luckily I was driving fast enough before I got the ticket that I was able to get the ticket and still make it to work on time. but the best part is, the boss isn't even here today apparently, that or he's just not here yet.

and I forgot to eat breakfast anyone want to bring me something to eat?

 

awww...that really sucks...dnt u just hate when that happens! when ur thinkin ur late and u get in a rush and when you show up your boss isn't even there??! happens to me all the time at least you made it to work on time with getting pulled over

 

Traffic school is probably worth it. It's not that much more money ($20 still?) and it won't go on your record (as long as you keep you nose clean for 6 mos or so.)

You can take the traffic school over the internet. They give you a LONG time to complete it and you can do it in chuncks of time saving your progress as you go.

 

Actually I was thinkin, most of the hot girls I know drive too fast, so if I go to traffic school there's bound to be some there

 

Most of the hot girls don't get tickets when they get pulled over.


I went to traffic school the last time I got a ticket (mix-up with the internet registration.) One word: Sausage-fest.

I'm with ruexp67 on the situation at traffic school. Lotsa dicks there. I'm suprised you cant just do a mail in for supervision, the only time I had to goto traffic school is when I was doing 85 in a 45 (83 and archer) in the wrong lane in a no passing zone. and that didnt even end up on my record. it sucks when you are playing with a viper in a civic and you get pulled over but the viper takes off.

 

I don't have to go to traffic school, I just want to keep my insurance from skyrocketing since I'm only 23. I probably should have mentioned this is not my first ticket, just my first ticket in the S

I don't see anything on the ticket about being able to take the class over the internet, is that info on whatever they send you once you pay for it?
