my first ticket, i was going 48 in a 25 and the cop pulled me over and had me sit there for about 20 minutes, then he followed me to my house so he could talk to my parents directly....awesome

back to the theory of actually being able to make up any real time by driving faster...

ever done the math? i used to commute to bloomington weekly and in that 140mile drive, the time savings of running 85 rather than 65...only saved me 31 minutes.

What impact do you think you have on a 15 minute commute?

Not tryin' to hate - I'm as bad as any speeder out there... just thinkin' it through...

Playing devil's advocate and not disagreeing with your logic, here's a retort:

The minute I save getting to my destination is the extra minute I'm not on public streets with all the yahoo's driving around .

I don't speed to save time. I speed because I like to drive fast.
