I drove home at 11 from Elk Grove to Algonquin on Thursday night. Was AWESOME! None of the side streets were plowed and Arlington Heights and Algonquin Roads had 3-4 inches down.

I have Hankook Icebear winter tires on my AP2 wheels and they are very stable on packed snow. I didn't have any trouble getting going from a stop. Love the funny looks when my little roadster passes cars and trucks just spinning their wheels

Was having a lot of fun driving full steering lock on the straights. I think I topped 35mph once on my 20 mile drive home. Once I got home and plowed the driveway, I dug my atv out and went sliding through the neighborhood--- flat tracking and hanging my ass off the seat sliding through turns!

Put snow tires on and it's fine. Considering most people are driving around on bald all seasons you'd probably be better off than 99% of other drivers.

I've been driving around on all-seasons with decent tread and I have decent control while still being able to have do some nice slides on lesser-traveled roads.

i'm on hankooks as well, and they're very stable, unless you mash the throttle. i've been having a blast driving around turns and corners sideways. i love the funny looks....and i assume that they're from the driving, and not the fact that i'm canadian.

I think it is 14 in + now for the Milwaukee area. Looks like I will be getting a ride to work tomorrow.
