Default Almost ready for Freshwater

I got my camera mount several weeks ago, but I did not have a video camera to mount on it, only stills. So I started looking the other day, and last night I finally found a good deal.

I started mounting the camera mount for the first time last night and it's a big PITA

I am going to redesign MPTuning's camera mount for them (without their knowdlege, consent, or interest) so it is easier to use. Once I get it all setup I am going to make a couple of test runs to shake it all out in terms of the design and layout. Overall, I think it's going to be a pretty sweet layout.

I will have the Digital Video camera mounted in the center of the bar facing forward. I have a mini power inverter that I am going to plug into the cig-ligher adapter, and then plug the AC adapter from the camera into that. That will allow me to run the camera for the whole time without worrying about battery life. Then I am going to run my Digital Still Camera facing the rear. I have a wired remote for that so I can turn the camera on and take pix without having to look at the camera at all. I should be able to monitor the basics through the rear-view mirror.

Should be pretty nice.

I already removed my windscreen so I could start testing the camera mount so no lighted windscreen tonight, folks.

I will post pix of the setup once I have it all completed.

Being the leader that I am. Three other s2ks will go if I go.

Sooo four of us will be attending the FWT, but we're going Friday night. I'm still waiting for Wayland to call me back to confirm. If anyone have driving instructions that'd be great.

BTW, can anyone let us borrow their bathroom saturday morning?

1) Me (Kevin)
2) ll_s2oo2_ll (Bryant)
3) s2khondaimport (Wayland)
4) Shinji's suzuka friend (Philip)

P.S. Look at the avatar to the left. I'll be printing that logo. If anyone wants to stick that on their car. Let me know.
