Oh how I long for the days when it was nearly impossible to connect to the internet without a good understanding of the technology... kallan, get cable. It's closer to internet for dum^H^H^H .. I mean.. plug and play.. yeah...

Go with the one that suits your TV watching habits...
In my area, SPEED TV is NOT and probably will NOT be available from Cable...I've been asking for 10+ years! I went with Satelite instead of Cable, and DSL for our internet access...I also live close to the CO, so bandwidth is not really an issue for me.

I know that usually the DSL companies will allow you to "upgrade" your access to the point that it is faster than Cable even on off peak hours.

It's called ADSL (or Business DSL). Much more expensive than cable though. Get a T1
