Smile Can't believe it...

so, im walking out of a local bar (just hanging out with some friends i hadn't seen in while) and there are two guys standing next to my car. i hit the door lock button to make them aware that it was my car. they come and ask me if it was my car and of coarse i tell them it was and then they show me the back of the car. the driver's side tail light was smashed in (just got the tail light replaced in the morning under the honda recall) and the bumper was all scratched up. they then come to tell me that someone backed into the car and drove off. they got the plate number and such so i called the police and put in a report.

it's just so irritating because i try to park away from everyone and keep the car safe then this happens. the person ended up leaving a fake note on the car and the dumbass had his name on the piece of paper, it was just some random peice of paper, and the name matched the person registered to the car. right now the police are looking for the car.

so, i'm asking the s2000 community if anyone has a driver's tail light i can borrow or buy from them at a reasonable price. i don't really want to spend money on it because insurance will take of the cost but the car looks ghetto right right and i believe unsafe, the red brake light is missing and its just a bulb. if anyone has anything please let me know.

What year car do you have? Depending on the year, I may have what you're looking for. I'll sell you a pair cheaper than your ins. co. will replace one for....when you get written up for an estimate, you want them to write up for the replacement.

The difference in what you spend with what was written up can be savings in your pocket (or knock a little off of your deductible).

I know YOU knew. I was reminding Luder, who was asking what year tail lights you were loking for.

I don't have a clue of why the subject of recall was even brought up....but in anycase, if Sean tried to go back to the dealership with a busted tail light to get a recall performed, they'd deny the recall notice; regardless whether or not the current tail lights were the recall replacements.
