Default Car shifts like butter

AFter months of shifter being knotchy on 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd in sub freezing temps,

now that temps are at 40+. it shifts sooo smooth.. i feel like i haven't fully put it in gear.

gotta love the new honda trans. fluid.

anyone else feel the difference?

Mine always shifts great. Lot attendant at the dealer even commented on it when bringing the car forward. I change the MTF every year with Honda stuff.

No notchiness on 1-2 like everyone complains of...

The GM stuff is way overhyped. Honda fluid is pretty good already.

I've run Amsoil and Honda fluid in this car and I cannot tell the difference.

I used to run that stuff in my old ITR swapped Civic Hatch. worked ok...never noticed a difference. Just run Honda Fluid! You do not own a slushbox GM POS

The NEW Honda MTF (came out 2-3 years ago now) is now nearly identical to GM Syncromesh and it is MUCH better than the old MTF from Honda. I would change the fluid annually.

All my s2000's have been notchy when cold. Not as much in warmer weather.

But even in the winter my shifting isn't as notchy once the car has fully warmed up.

Green bottle Honda MTF is better than GM Syncromesh Friction Modified. I used Syncromesh before, and now after using the green bottle stuff, I haven't gone back to GM's juice.
