Cool Car Wash and Grill-Out/BBQ

I think its time for me to host another event. Except this time its at my place. A car wash event and BBQ/Grill-out. I have hot and cold water in the garage with a drain, so I figure we can all get together and give our cars a nice, and probably much needed HAND wash, those auto car washers just do not do the job sometimes. I will have kerosene heaters going to keep the garage at a reasonable temperature.

I have a few requests though, if your bringing your car to wash please make a payment of 5 dollars per car that is washed to try and cover the cost of using the water. (I ask only because my parents are worried over the water/electric bill). Personally I do not think its to much to ask. The other thing to ask, if your bringing your car to wash, please bring your collection of car washing goods. I don't think it would be fair if I lent out my entire stash of car cleaning items. Plus, having more cleaning supplies to pass around is better than no cleaning supplies to pass around.

This will be a grill out, so we will need to make a list with what people will be bringing. Burgers, plates, chips soda, the typical things.

When: March 14th 2010 starting at noon
Where: Removed so nobody can steal my car

What you will need to bring: Yourself and a guest, 5 bucks, some food, and your favorite cleaning supplies.

If you have any comments, questions, or concerns please post them up!

EDIT, we will be having this event on Sunday now instead. The weather will be MUCH better

Aqib, dont worry about it Im sure you will be over sometime before the winter is over to wash your car!

Chazz, I knew you would be on board for this! I figure that if not enough S2ki members sign up I may invite friends who are motor heads. That is an option at this point...

I may not have the S out, but I am always up for eating.
As Long as your folks don't think I am odd for showing up, given my advanced age.
