Default Cars & Coffee - Detroit

Anybody in the Michigan Area ever go or want to go to Cars and Coffee at the Motor City Casino in Detroit? I've been to C&C a few times in Southern California and it was always a great turn out of exotics muscle cara tuners bikes and everything in between. Don't really know about the variety in Detroit but only one way to find out I guess. So any interest?

There is a Cars and Coffee group on Facebook. The meets are at Kart 2 Kart. I think this link should work: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/groups/333991937331/?id=10150269462567332

I've been to a few of them. I liked the old location at the troy target better, but we got kicked out of there. I don't think they have anything going on at Motor City Casino, although I once saw that indicated on some website???

Yeah, and the organizer recently sent out an e-mail asking about thoughts to attract more exotics; so, you're right, it won't be like so-cal at all. I've been to something similar, I think in Freemont, CA, and damn was there a lot cars. West coast had it going on!

I've never been to one, but I can only imagine what it would be like in MI. (I like some classic/muscle cars, but not at the expense of feeling like a total outsider by driving in a S2000.)

Kamron and a few others have discussed checking out a BBQ joint near metro-Detroit in Aug or Sept. Maybe we should try to nail down a date for that.

BTW, you'll see way more (granted not like the Westcoast) nice Subarus (WRX/STi) in MI than any nice Hondas...

It looks like there might actually be some other s2ks at C&C Detroit. There is interest on the other site. http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=40388

If the weather is nice, then I'll be there. It sounds like there are at least 2 coming from S2KCA. It would be nice to some what coordinate and park together.

I'll do my best to make this one, the calendar has not been too kind to me this year.
