caught speeding
speaking of tickets i just got one the other day in skokie for speeding. this will be my 2nd in IL and 1 in WI
i wasn't even going that fast, i basically had to make a light in the rain. if i slowed down i would prob have skidded. so the officer wrote me up for speeding.
When i go to court should i tell them what happened, because the officer wrote some bullsh*t saying i was going so fast i couldn't slow down. but it was actually a choice of slow down or speed up to catch the light. it was something like 54 in a 34 she said, with no radar since she had to bust a U. what do you guy recommend? know any lawyers that will work for cheap? or should i go in and ask them for suspervision and how it can be taken off my record?

Thats a typical too fast for conditions ticket.
Go to the cafeteria in the skokie circuit court, ask around for a lawyer 15 min before your court time. Negotiate a rate $50-75. You can't miss them.
Youll be fine.
