Curious as to where it'll be held. Itscalled Chicago 1/2 mile and the first 2 pages I read mention and air strip. I'm not familiar with any airports that 1) can safely allow a half mile drag race, 2) shut down for a day to allow racing, 3) is located in the chicagolqnd area.
Whith that said, I'm interested in watching. I wouldn't enter unless my car has over 1,200whp.

Daryl, thanks for posting this. I'll now be stalking TCG waiting for registration to open, really would hate to miss this. It seems as though this event will sell out quick, judging by what is being said on various forums. There is a lot of excitment as we have never had a event like this in the Midwest.
Are you thinking of running your car Daryl? We should try to get as many high powered S2000s out there as possible. I do have some hesitation running my car on stock gearing though, topping out 6th gear should be interesting. I also wonder how stable the S2000 will be at 160+mph.
