I think comptech has gone out of business and with no warranty, and no one selling replacemnt part for the kit it's risky.

Honestly it's a tuff call. I guess I would first want to see pictures of it off the car so you know is has 100% of all the parts and in good shape. As I am sure you know Comptecch is now out of business so you will have no service or outlet for replacement parts. If there is anything wrong with the blower itself that's not as big a deal as it's made by Paxton.

I myself of a Comptech unit.

Do you have a lot of money you feel like putting into your car? Because you are going to spend way more than just the 3k.

i wouldnt know really, most of my engine stuff i'm having my mechanic do since he's aloooot more experienced than i am in this sort of thing. just started this stuff (car work) last year and i'm still a noob (good word for it )

before i get a forced ind. for my engine what would you guys recommend i do first? (i want to get more power before the apperance route so i'm really looking at upgrading under the hood alot)

and to answer any money questions i plan on putting about 15,000 into the car over the next 1-2 years

edit: i thought i'd say also, that my labor gets done pretty cheap (case of beer and a couple bucks for installing my clutch) love that man
