So much HP, ripped my front end right off.



Get ready for 600HP 2.3 liter stroker for summer.

I dont know what you are trying to say, but the crossmember is only 1/4 more forward that the facotry one, uses a stronger material, and has no flex.

the oem cross beam is directly behind the attachment points of the upper A arms, this helps reduce any flexing best. if your bar is only moved forward 1/4in, then shouldnt be a big deal. What material did you use thats stronger than the oem Steel brace?

Ill get the specs of the tubing on here in a bit.
The oem stell brace is actually flimsy, sheetmetal, but Im sure that is for crumpling in impact.

looked at the oem placement, looks pretty close, should be all good. I dont know if id call the oem steel box beam flimsy tho.

any reason why you decided to replace it? just curious.

Doesnt seem real flimsy while in the car, but it actually is.

I replaced it to have a stronger crossmember, and to make a little more room for IC piping, plus the whole bay is shaved so it looks better in there
