Default Elda Rollbar installation in Chicago Area

The subject says it all, anyone know of someone or a shop that does professional rollbar installation? What is a good expectation of cost?

Thanks,

Adam

Damn, I thought you had one installed. I wanted to see it! I have been considering this myself for the last few months. I was planning to do the install myself.

Elda offers a service if you remove the plastic, and send it to them, they will trim it for you. The rest is bolt-in I believe.

I was under the impression that installing the rollbar required drilling into the frame to install acceptable bolts (size wise). Unfortunately I live in an Apartment in Lincoln Park so unless one of you wants some $$$ to help me out on a Saturday/Sunday, I'm stuck with going to a shop.

Mmm.... I guess i didn't look that closely into the install requirements. Actually I can offer assistance if you want to go that route. I would like to see the install first hand as it would help me decide if I want to do it myself.

Hi Harry,

If you don't mind me hanging around, could i possibly stop by/assist in your install. I'd really like to see how that's coming together and more than that, i'm really glad to hear you're getting a cage.
Safety 1st!

TritonS2k,
Maybe i can offer some assistance as well.

Just like Harry...trying to overshadow the small gathering I'm planning at my house for Shift_9k's 15k maintenance DIY.

I'll one up you....all you guys can go to Harry's to watch a roll bar get installed, or you guys can come over to watch me basically rejuvenate the fluids in Shifty's car....of which there'll most likely be some adult livations being served as well as a hot fire going in one of my BBQ grills.

So Harry, how do you like dem apples?....in short, if Harry feels be-little in my challenge, he can put his tail between his legs and come on over to enjoy in the small gathering at my place.

If no one else decides to come over, maybe Shifty and I will swing by Harry's....me with tail hung low.

It's different days there, Drama Queen.

I spoke to Harry today, and he mentioned heading up to your house on Saturday when we get bored with the roll-bar.

I spoke to Harry this morning and he said that he'd be working on the bar on Friday...seeing that lazy fart doesn't work on Friday's...

Whatever, if you guys come up Saturday...the day time is fine, however I have a prior committment that my wife made for me to attend. I don't understand my wife sometimes, if I actively don't want to celebrate my own kid's birthday (mainly by actively not having kids), why she thinks I want to celebrate an acquaintance's kid's birthday is well beyond my comprehension!!!
