Anyone, anyone? I'm going for sure. It'd be awesome if more of you tagged along, it'll be one big party! Oh and I promise you, that there will be one pitstop in Merriville, IN. I found this amazing club, and i dont know what to say, we have to go. Once on the way down to the race, and once on the way up.

 

We are currently working on something very cool for S2000 owners for the F1 race. Stay tuned for details. We should have an announcement in the next few weeks.

If you are planning to come to the race, I would strongly recommend being here for Friday and Saturday, I enjoy those days more than race day. It may be different this year though since the final qualifying session is on Sunday morning before the race.

And im sure things will be different from what i've heard, due to the new gay qualifications. I plan to arrive late thursday, early friday. Again this hasnt been finalized yet. I'll wait til I see whats going on with everyone else.

oh I see, the indy 500 is what you were referring to.

Would this upcoming "event" or whatever you guys are talking about include available tickets? Or are we on our own for tickets? I ask because of crockey selling his tickets.

 

Not the Indy 500. The Formula One United States Grand Prix, which is held at the same place -- the Indianapolis Motor Speedway -- but is IMO a much better race and racing series.

I went last year to the practice runs (not sure the exact name) with my company, and I'd go again this year. If I haven't moved to Pittsburgh by June, I'll go.

 

What's the club in Merrilville? I have a friend from there.

 

Its called willy's its right off of rt 30. Holy crap was it bumping that one memorable saturday.
