Default Fall Colors Cruise in the Zoo, and ?

Who would be interested in a Fall Cruise to check out the Fall Colors in the Kalamazoo area later this year around Mid October ? We could also stop along the route and have Lunch somewhere interesting.

If enough people are interested we could run two caravans. One for those who want to check out all the Cool Sites and another for those of us who like to play on the Curves as we check out the sites.

Post you thoughts and ideas, or just tell me to Get Lost.

Kalamazoo is a great Middle Point for a lot of folks in the region.

Thanks: Fred

Yes, we'd come out for this if we have no scheduling conflicts and the weather is cooperative.

October is 2 months away, man. Give it some time!

I'd be interested in it.

Me too

October is a long way off (it feels like it anyway) and that's more than likely the reason for not many people posting.

Sorry Guys, as some of you know it takes lots of Time Prepairing too run a Good Event and Two Months is just around the corner.

If there is No Interest Now, chances are there will not be enough Interest Later.

Common Sense, UMW can not support or maintain an Event. Take Fresh Water Tour (FWT) for Example, I can't afford to Waist all my Time and take a Loss so people can think about attending.

The truth hurts sometimes, but must be accepted.

Doesn't have to be anything extravagant or well planned for people to show up. When I suggest a meet, I'm usually not investing anything other than some small amount of time.

You are correct Karmon, a lot of get-togethers can be done with very little effort and money. This Event would have been one of them since I have done most of the legwork already for the route we would have taken. Very little work would have been needed to expand my planed route for a Fall Colors Tour and Locate a nice place to eat with a discount for all of us.

However some Events do take a lot of planning and money to run. Our last Poker Run over $350 was spent on food, soft drinks and supplies (cards, printing instructions and directions) needed to run the Poker run.

Another expense was over 300 miles driven and over 20 hours driving and planning to set up the route taken to make sure the route was Safe and Fun.

This thread was started to get peoples opinions and Ideas. This was going to be a No Cost Event and all I wanted to do is see if Enough People would be interested in this Event.

I thought the Original Post was self explanatory, Obviously I was Wrong. No One Posted an Idea or Opinion.

Figured I would at least get someone to tell me to Get Lost. Guess the Lack of folks posting has the same effect.

Fred, I appreciate your effort, as well as your explanation! If I had a better knowledge of the K-zoo area, then perhaps I would have had more of an idea or opinion. Unfortunately, my ignorance has left me silent.
