Hello All!

Well, we have finally moved here, after what seems to have been the longest move in history. However, the S is still in NC. My towing option fell through at the last min. and I had to leave her with friends. I plan to pick her up at Dragonball and drive back.

We finally settled on a place about two blocks from Wrigleyfield, but I'm not sure if its Wrigleyville or Lakeview- I think its on the border of both?

Anyway, I am looking forward to joining the meets and events. Sorry I have to skip this Thurs. (other plans), Huskerhubby would've enjoyed it.

Last night I went out on a cruise to downtown, Michigan Avenue, which is nearby Wrigleyville, and it was packed with people for the film festival by Navy Pier/Buckingham fountain. This festival is every Tuesday till mid-August I believe. I KNOW you'll enjoy that and many other scenic areas of Chicago!!
In addition, I hope you can make it out to one of our numerous meets one day! Everyone is truly awesome!

This temp is nice compared to the past few weeks in CLT. I'm dreading the winter though.

 

You should definitely check out the free concerts in Millenium park, on fridays and sat. If you enjoy that kind of thing. They also have movies on thursdays I believe. Wrigleyville's a fun area. You should enjoy! Welcome!

 

It's not THAT bad. No worries, it's still summer. We try REALLY hard not to mention the 'W' word at this time of the year.

It's like talking about a divorce durring the wedding reception.
