Find The Line at MAM
Hey everyone, just a bump here for another "Find The Line" track weekend coming up at Mid America Motorplex.
MAM is a great little course that is both technically challenging, and also good for newcomers as there is absolutely nothing to hit in case you don't Find The Line.
FTL's events are good fun. It is a low hassle, laid back yet well run group and there are enough experienced drivers who are willing to instruct and mentor the newcomers or those who just want somebody else's take on what they're doing.
The downside? Well MAM is kind out in the middle of nowhere to many of us on the Iowa-Nebraska border, but it's well worth the drive.

I went to one of these events a couple years back. The track is very nice. It was good for me because I had just turned 3K. I was brand new at driving the car. The track is very open and safe for beginners. If you go off track you don't have to worry.
