There is an Open Track (Driver's Ed) event hosted by The Driver's Edge this weekend at TWS. It's probably too late to get in, but you could watch and decide if you want to get into this stuff.

I'm an instructor in the event. If you are in or near Texas, you should check out this group. We will be doing all three major Texas tracks this year!

I've been doing TWS for 6 years now, and it's a blast... nice fast straight, challenging turns.

TWS is located approx. 5 miles south of College Station on route 6. It's an easy drive from Austin, would be a great outing. Warning: if you take up Open Track events you will be hooked!
