So I get off work on friday decide to grt a car wash . I pick up my girl and we decide to go Downtown about 9:30. So I finally find parking about two blocks away from Portillos .We go eat about half hour at this time my car looks very nice. Just had it waxed and detailed so it was very nice and shiny.Well anyway we get out of portillos and walk toward the ride. I'm about 15 feet from my car when my girl says a bird took a crap on your car . I get closer and notice its all over my hood so I'm like man what did this bird eat . I go to the passenger side and notice its not bird poop. But some ignorant person that has nothing better to do egged my car !!!!!! My car got egged.The car I work so hard for I felt so violated. Maybe they didn't like the color or the fact that a young person like myself owns a car like this fine machine. To all the haters don't hate because you probaly drive a rust bucket or whatever reason. Just work a little harder . If something like this has happened to any of my fellow s2k owners I would like to hear it . I feel your pain . So I am never taking my S downtown again. This may not be a big deal to alot of people but it makes me feel uneasy that people don't have any respect for what a person works so hard for . But I would like to hear if this has ever happened to you guys . I know its embarrising but I'm just very upset about this

 

I'd gladly take an egging over what happened to my car. Someone kicked in my passenger side fender for no apparent reason. I came back from working out and I had a dent the size of a size 10-11 shoe. Thankfully my insurance took care of it all. Sorry to hear about your car.

 

To think some one did this out of jealousy is a fairly ignorant comment. There are plenty of people who drive amazing cars, regardless of their age.

I've had my car vandalized before, but I never assumed that it was out of jealousy.

Sorry that happened to your car, but you can simply wash the egg off of it and you're fine. My car has been stolen and broken into.

Put your ego in check and be happy they weren't throwing cinder blocks.

 

Been broken into. Keyed. Hit and run several times. Fenders kicked in. Just about all the dumb crap that can happen to a car. But all of that was before the S2k. She sleeps indoors and only parks in well lit areas or places where people will see stupid crap happening.

I've learned about having a nie car, and unfortunately, you will be targetted sometimes. If it wasn't nice, it wouldn't be worth messing with or stealing from it. Just carry insurance and learn to let the little stuff roll off. If you get the big "nice car chip on your shoulder" thing going on too early, the car is going to begin owning you and not the other way around. And that's a whole lot of no fun. Believe me.

 

Your right . but im not saying Iam better then anybody I had the rust buckets had them broken into before ,keyed ,hit, one set on fire. I work very hard for my car so if I get a little pissed because someone feels they need to express themselves. I think i deserve the right to express myself to . Seriously if they would have broke into it I would have been like well they took my radio ok understandable . But to get an egg which last time I checked I don't carry any with me in the middle of downtown is kinda doing it on purpose I was the only car to get egged in a 3 block radius. If I was in a side street say on the northwest side and that happened I would have been thinking kids what can you do . But in the middle of downtown. Thats a different story .Do you know how much trouble you would have to go through to get some eggs downtown ? that is if you didn't have any to begin with.

 

I agree Suzuka scho. Never meant to make it sound like I think Im better then anyone Because i'm not .I am very protective of my cars doesn't matter if it was the S or my 91 maxima that I used to have . I take care of my cars because i work hard for them

 

Yes, i live downtown. they're eggs, not plutonium. not that hard

 

My sister's Porsche had its windshield wipers snapped in two.

My brother's Porsche was keyed on every side, even the side mirrors.

My old 626 GT (!!) was mysteriously attacked by tomatoes and rocks.

Shit happens. People suck.

Lets, see... I've owned my car since July 10th, and since then.... I have
1: had an old lady cut me off while I was in the turn lane, doing 40, and starting to slow down, but if I slowed down, she would have hit me, so I take the turn at 40, get around the corner, straighten it out, back end slides out, slide across three lanes of traffic, stop in the gravel area by the turn lane, slide 20 feet through the gravel, come to a stop, and so does all the gravel.... inside my car. Of course I had the top down, and ended up with about an inch of sand/road gravel inside my car seats......

2: Take a friend out for a ride in my car, decide to meet some other friends for dinner. We stop at a place to eat, my friend is attempting to find the door handle, finally finds it, and opens the door into my friends OPEN truck door, right next to him. Putting a 2-3 inch dent in my door, from hitting the edge of the truck door perfectly (Since it was open)

3: Driving around town, going to get my hair cut, Drive past the state fair, where they had the tractor pulls last night (Literally less than 30 yards away), come around the corner after a light rain, car is doing about 10-15 mph, make it around the corner, start to straighten the car out, and the back end slides out, car does basicly a U-turn into a guard rail...




I think I win this one... I would rather have eggs than a guard rail anyday...


Not to mention I've spent every day since I've owned this car cleaning it.... Literally every day. Washing it around two times a week, waxing it once a week, Vacuuming it every other day, quick detailing the leather and consoles nearly every day...
