Help in Holland, MI
Fellow UMW members
I have a friend interested in a 2008 BMW 328XI that is located in Holland. We are in Milwaukee and could hop over on the ferry. Problem is, it was in an accident. This is what I got from the guy selling it when I asked for pictures of the damage:
No I did not take any before pictures. It was hit pretty good in the front but not enough to damage the frame of the vehicle. I replaced the bumper, fenders, headlights, radiator support, radiator and condenser and repaired the hood. The car was repaired according to BMW guidelines and was repaired with genuine oem BMW parts. I own a body shop where we specialize in European cars and all body work we do carries a lifetime warranty. This is a great car and has extremely low miles and the all wheel drive and stick shift make it even better. I have driven this car for a few months and its been a solid car with no issues and it drives great. I know there is alot of fear in buying a car that was damaged so if you buy this car and come out and check it out and don't feel comfortable with it I will understand and not hold you to buying it. But I am confident in my repair work and can tell you it has been repaired right and will make a great car.
Thank You for you interest! Please let me know if you have any other questions

I am 50/50 on whether this damage should be of concern. The car has around 25k miles and is priced accordingly for the damage. Any chance someone would be willing to go have a look at it for us before we jump the pond. Just see if there is any evidence that there was more to it than what we are being told? Thanks in advance.
