How to ship a hood?
Wonding if anyone with aftermarket hoods has a good idea on cost to ship and a method. The item is too large for UPS, DHL, and FedEx, so how do I get a hold of a freight company?
Thanks

I've had furniture shipped by BAX Global (www.baxglobal.com) before w/out a problem; so, I imagine they might be able to ship your hood if there happens to be a location near you???? I don't know if that's really helpful or not because I don't know if they'll be the best or the cheapest option in your case.
FedEx has a freight service. It'll cost a whole lot if they have to come pick it up from you...but if you drop it off to a freight location close it should be competitively priced.
I freighted my Mugen FRP top using them for $300 to Virginia.
On the other hand, I freighted out my soft top cover and frame assembly to TN using a smaller, local service...it only cost $75.
