Talking Installed my gears today!

Well big thanks to Harry (hecash) for helping me out today installing my gears. We had a couple of bumps along the way but we didnt even dent my exhaust lol!

anyway, the drive home was excellent (about 2.5 hours) I purchased the 4.57 gear set and it was assembled by puddy. They have a little whine at certain speeds, but the 4.57 is notorious for this... The whine goes away when you turn up the stereo though... so it doesn't bother me The shorter gear ratio is noticeable and i love it! I cant wait to get some miles on them so I can crack open them vTAKs haha!

anyway thanks again Harry. Hope your gear swap goes smoothly tomorrow

Nice! This or the hardtop will definitely be my next mod. If you're ever out at a meet, I'd love to see how the 4.57's feel!

Actually you did not do a gear install you and Harry installed a ready built rear into your car

Glad you are happy with the new rear and that the 4.57 whine is not to bad, what oil did you use to fill the rear with?
