Hey everyone. Well i finally joined the forums. So i figured i would you guys a little about myself and my car. I own an 02 Suzuka Blue S2k. I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now and i absolutely love it. I recently thought about selling it this spring to buy an 03-04 SVT Cobra, since i've always been a mustang fan. My last car was a 2000 mustang GT. but i have decided to keep the S after some heavy thought. I just like the feeling of having something that not to many people have around here. A little about the car. It has some very minor mods. it has an AEM V2 Intake, Invidia Q300 catback exhaust, OEM Hardtop, and Enki STR-8 wheels. Its a great car I've enjoyed driving it every minute i've owned it. I get way more looks then i ever did in the mustang. I have plans as for what i would to do to the car, but that will come in time. As money is extra money is hard to come by these days. A little about myself. My name is Nick and i live in the western part of Wisconsin in the city of Eau Claire, WI. I'm 27 years old. I enjoy all types of cars. I dont care what you drive, as long as you take care of your car and do things right as far mods are concerned. I wont bash on your car if you dont bash on mine. I'm part of a car club called Barely Legal Customs. A few of my friends started this club years back. we are nothing to official. more or less a facebook club. we dont have meetings or anything like that. we just hangout and go to car shows together. We are currently trying to get our name out the a bit more though. We have teamed up with the local Mega Pick'n Save grocery store and are putting on modified car shows throughout on the last Saturday of each month, starting next month. The show is run by our club and is directed toward modified cars, trucks, and bikes of any kind. this is only our second year of doing this, so we are still working the bugs out and trying to make these shows much bigger. the car seen here is mostly directed toward older stock muscle cars. which the is nothing wrong with that, but thats not what our show is about. we are trying to get the more modern cars into the car seen. but enough about that. I'm really hoping to meet some fellow S2K owners and possibly going to some meets sometime. I have alot to learn about about these cars and i think i will learn a lot on here. I have pics of my car in the intro section.

Welcome, I get compliments all the time with my s2000 also. I have a joke going with my wife and kids about, every time I bring it out someone's ices me thumbs up, talks to me at a stoplight or talks to me at the pump. Great car to own.

I live in Chicago, but am from Port Washington, WI! There are some members in the WI area, but most of the action happens here in Chicago! You should post up a new thread a few weeks before your car show with all the details and maybe some of us can make it and help support

 

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. I will definetly do that. that would be awesome if some of you could make a trip up here. The shows a work in progress, but we got a lot better advertising set up this year. so hopefully it we can get some good turnouts.
