Default Lock your doors!

Well this weekend took me by surprise being in a somewhat nice area. Our mini-van was left unlocked or one of the kids playing with the remote over night and went to wash it to discover someone helped them self to all non attached belongings. Only thing of value was a portable navi unit and there was no damage so could have been worse.

Anyway just sharing to help everyone else

my main concern is that if they help them self into the car in Honda the Homelink is always active so they could push the button and have access into the house. Could just be kids but something I have to consider now since I was not the first to report this past weekend in my neighborhood. In the past we used to leave the keys in our cars and other things so it was an eye opener for us. I used to laugh at my buddy that would come from the city and how he would lock up his car in my driveway...of course he was the first person I called to let him know its not so safe after all.

I just have to not be lazy and pull it in the garage at nite moving forward or make sure its locked up. Sad but is what it is.

sad to say but no where's safe. I thought my sister lives in a nice neighborhood as well (near sears centre off rt.59 and I-94). earlier this year she told me there was a neighborhood bulletin of a suspicious person walking around trying to open up car doors in the driveways and a few daytime burglaries.

Geez.....If I lived in your area, I'd make sure that I had bullet-proof siding and a 12' moat.
eye see what you did here....so where did you get yours from and is there a "group" discount
