Looking for brake pads
I'm heading out to Road America this weekend and am in need of some track pads. Anyone know where I can get some locally? I'd like Cobalt Friction VR pads, but everyplace I find them online charges up the ass for overnight/2nd day shipping. I'll probably call around to a few shops later on today.
Good luck...you might try Cobalt Racing...I got my fronts from them last week (ordered Tues? and received on Friday - Normal Shipping) That was for GT-Sports though, and I had to get my rears elsewhere!
Are you going to be at RA all weekend? I'm heading up for Saturday/Sunday.

I found a shop (One6 motorsports) to order me some Hawk HP Plus. Not exactly what I wanted, but they should do. The price was good to, especially considering overnight/2nd day shipping would have cost a ton.
I'm running HPDE1 saturday and sunday. Heading up Friday night. I'm sure I'll see you there!

Hey Pat, I ordered the same pads from the same place this morning. They should have mine in tomorrow and I'm heading out there for tech as well.
If you feel like meeting up for lunch let me know
Mike
As a side note: Anybody know if I need numbers on my car for Gingerman HPDE this weekend?
