Don't we have a near 50/50 weight distribution?

Granted it's not like a front-driver that has more weight on the drive/control wheels, but imo it's not the cause.

I am going to go with black ice/slippery spot theory, even with all-seasons that stuff will get ya'.

Glad you are OK though.

During an autocross in temps around 41 degrees I spun my EVO, talk about a shock. But right then and there I knew they were not kidding about summer tires in cold temps.

winter tires! i think the S drives better than a lot of other cars when it's got winter tires on. screw the beater...you bought the S to drive, right? enjoy it the whole year! unless it's a garage queen of course.
