BYS Lowered seat rails, subtle difference, but enough that I don't have to duck to see the stop light.
How tall are you?

Im 6' and desperately need to lower mine too before next Spring.

Right now the top of my head is about even with the windshield frame.

I'm 5-11" If you are ever in MKE and want to check it out hit me up with a PM.

I also helped another local owner install his, he wasn't as happy as I was, but he also paid twice as much because he bought it new. Start looking for a used one.

If i remember I'll have to hit you up. I'm thinking the BYS is the way to go as GT Motoring told me it only lowers the rear.

I want to be lower, but don't want to feel like Im sitting on the floor.

I'm 6'1", and mostly torso. I thought I saw someone selling BYS seat rails.

I have a stick on fresnel lens at the top of my windshield. This lets me see the traffic lights without ducking. Clever idea and cheap easy fix. Got mine from:

One could probably make it pretty easily.

I want to be under the OEM roll bars with a helmet on, for the track (broomstick test). I don't mind being on the floor, I think I may actually need to be.

^ The BYS rail will not get you low enough for that.

I'm 5'11" and I won't pass the broomstick test and I have the BYS rail. You'll need a different seat and rails in order to get you that low.

Just lower the stock seat. It's easy enough to do. I lowered the rear of the seat only and it made a big difference.

Dammit Jim, sw05s2k is right. Lowering the stock seats isn't enough. I need 3" or more.

DW Vinny is pretty amazing. I love it when someone just won't accept, "It can't be done."

Vinny is really good, I'm 100% sure he can lower Your seats, his welding skills are top notch too.

BTW I'm 6'3, 250ish lb, I've had plenty small cars from s2k through GM6 and now datsun s30z and really never had much problem with seeing stuff/fitting inside, I can't even recall thinking about lowering my seats in s2k(datsun is even smaller, on top of that i have roll bar right behind the seat)

The BYS seat rail lowers the stock seat so that it pretty much sits on the floorboard. In order to get lower, you would have to go with a different seat (racing seat) to get low enough to pass a broomstick test.
