Default Maintenance in NW Suburbs Chicago

My S2000 is a little notchy going into 2nd sometimes. It might need fluid to be added. I have no idea if anyone ever did a trans fluid change on it, so I might as well do a change. I don't really have the tools to do it myself, so I need a mechanic or someone that could do it for me. I don't trust dealers whatsoever and I'm not gonna trust some random mechanic to do work on my car. I've already bought the Honda Fluid. Any recommendations? I live in northwest suburbs of chicago. Thanks a lot guys!

Buy the tools and do it yourself, its as easy as an oil change just a bit harder to get to...

What 'burbs are you in? Depending where you're at, maybe a local owner can host you/or you can host that person to show you how to do it.

Private message me or talk to me about it at the meet in Schaumburg on May 27th, if you can make it out. I'm willing to show you, and will put together a small meet for other owners. If you don't have the tools, no need to buy them if you don't plan to work on the car long-term. I can bring whatever is needed over.

I'm willing to host a small group of people to do some light maintenance and quick fix work.

Maybe we can do it sometime on Memorial Day weekend.
