i raced that silver ap1 in the last picture you're talking about dustin. she was at blackhawk last year with her dad who races a red mr2. i'm happy to say that a cr IS faster than an ap1 around a track
that may be but my civic revs higher. Thats way more exciting if you ask me.

So all you guys that came to and enjoyed this event. Are you gonna come to the Milwaukee Mile event too?

Maybe get Patinum and some of the WMHM guys to show up. It's gonna be fun.

My pics from the day. I snapped about 95% of these. My buddy Kyle (white AE86) took the pics of my run group.

Blackhawk safety inspectors wouldn't let me run without that rollbar + 4-pt harness. How did you guys run w/o rollbar, 4-pt harness?

It depends on the club and the type of event. For our HPDE's factory roll over protection is adequate to be allowed on track.

Yeah, seems to be the case according to the research I've been doing lately. Must be the difference between the HSAX and the HPDE, the latter in which competitors are going 10/10.

The only negative in my eyes regarding HPDE's is that it seems abusive to me to run the S that hard for 20 mins.

Actually the former competitors are going 10/10ths

I think it's probably less abusive to track the car and maintain it appropriately than to only street drive it and neglect it a little. I change the oil in my engine after every event, bleed the brakes before every event, change the trans fluid after every other event. You just have to step up the maintenance appropriately for how you use the car.

At most events, including ours, you are free to come in and out as much as you want if you are worried about pushing the car hard for an extended period. A lot of people will take a couple of laps to just cruise the track and let brakes and engines cool a little.

You should sign up for the Milwaukee Mile event. You'll be hooked!
