Default Moving to Cali

After 3years of careful thought we have decided to move To Stockton California. I have enjoyed my time here but since the weather never gets any better, it is time to move on. I have taken a Job at a local dealer out there and found a place to live just last week. We are planning to leave around the 16th of May if all works out like that.
For all my Auto crossing buddies I plan on being at the SCCA event #1, also it has really been a true pleaser knowing you and running with you. We have had good times and allot of trash talking. It was hard to decide this cause of all you great guys and girls. But times here in Wisconsin are not getting better for techs and I feel that there are more opportunities out in Cali and I am going to try.
Since I grew up in Stockton it will be like home again. Also if anyone would like to help us load the truck on the 14th Beer and food is free.

Good luck to you. If you were moving out towards L.A. I would have to intervine and tell you how bad it is

Stockton is nice, not as high strung as some other places. You have a lot of great areas around you too. The Sierra's, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Sequoia, Bay Area. No smog, no traffic.

Things might have been dfifferent for me if there were more I.T. jobs in Central Ca. It's a nice place to live.

Good luck to you!!!!

I may be able to round up a few of us in Chicago to caravan up to Wisconsin for the weekend to help you pack and move. I'd be up for meeting/saying good-bye to an UMW owner.

That would be cool luder94, everything will be packed and ready to be put in the truck, since my last day on the job is the 9th, so it should go very fast. Also if anyone needs 10% over cost on Honda parts hit me up now.

It sucks I'm leaving since I have just got to know some of you but my family needs me out there so I must go. Plus better weather.

Stockton is a nice place. I grew up there and it will be nice to see all my old friends. Lot of ppl are commuters to the bay area so maybe a thought.
