Good luck again Will. As you know, you will be missed by many autocrossers and friends alike in Wisconsin. Expect a visit from Colin and I at some point!

Because of the weather huh, Stockton is not any better. You leave the cold to go to a place that gets hotter than hell. I have been to Stockton MANY times and I can say that is is not any better than here. They both can be extremes. Good luck!!

Wait until you go through a summer here in the midwest .

For functionality, most people buy a hardtop for the colder winter months, here in the Midwest, people want a hardtop for the harsh cooler nights, and the hotter & more humid than hell days.

Seriously, it gets so hot and humid that even with the soft top up, the car can be excruciating. Humidity does it to us out here.

Inland Empire, Southern California. Mid May - Mid October = 90+ degrees every damn day. Not uncommon for mid summer to hit 105 every day.

I do not miss that. I can live with 90 degrees and humid.

I grew up in Stockton and I remember it well. I'd take the dry heat over humidity any day. I have been here 11years and still am not used to it. In Stockton at least around 4o'clock the winds come in and cool it down a bit. I don't even regreat leaving , just leaving all you cool guys is what I regret and all the trash talking hehe

hehe, Ryan and Road Rash. the problem here is not the temperature. the midwest has some of the most humid summer days of anywhere in the US.

A 90 degree day with like 3000% humidity is worse than a dry 105 degree day, IMO.

hehe just wait you'll see. in the words of lewis black:

It's easy to spot a day when the humidity is over 100%. How do you know? When you walk down the street thinking to yourself, "you know, i should have put deoderant on my balls".

I believe you, I guess I just got spoiled last summer. I dont remember more than 2 days where it went over 90 degrees. On those 2 days the humidity was bad but it was tolerable to me. Regarding dry 100+ days in Cali, those are just plain stressful if you have to work outside. Every weekend I had to do yardwork - mow the lawn, lanscaping work on the house, change oil in car Etc. Almost impossible to do unless you start at 6:00 AM on the weekends. Imagine having a $250 water bill every month just to keep your grass somewhat green

Hopefully this summer has some mercy on us like last summer.
