Ok, so I bought a 2003 Spa S2k with 23K on the odo back in January.

For the most part it's been sitting in my garage until the last month because I didn't have time to play with it, but now I've been driving it a lot.

I had my local Honda dealership give it a once over and change the diff and tranny fluids and for a last look before the warranty expired.

What the dealer found was that the from bumper had been repainted at some point, and reinstalled by a total moron. It's missing 3 clips and about half the screws that hold it in place according to the dealer. In addition, I can see that the shield in front of the radiator was installed incorrectly because it is just flopping around and is not secured in place. The dealer also showed me where the bumper had been repaired and painted (the body shop guy actually "re-broke" the spot while showing me and said the only thing they would do to fix it would be for me to pay them $700 for a new bumper cover and paint job

So, what I'm asking is if sometime during the next meet somebody who knows this stuff could look at it and tell me exactly what parts (screws, etc) I'm missing

I will of course buy beer, food, etc for anybody who can assist.

 

I can definitey take a look at it. $700 for a new bumper and paint is outrageous. Let me take a look at it first...I may be able to salvage all the clips and how they mount to your "broken" under paneling.
