Default Need new tires....

Hello everyone.. i need new tires? Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe 245's in the rear? Do you guys know if i can run 245-35-16 on my stock AP1 rims? What are you guys running on your s2000's? Any pros and cons to running this size? I know the ride will be a little off, etc. let me know what you guys think..

Thanks

You do NOT want to run 245/35/16. The tire will be way too short. If you are looking at 245's, the best size is 245/45/16.

This is a really good resource: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

8.5% off of stock is WAY too much IMO. Your speedo will be off, your ride height in the rear will be too low, and your handling will suffer because of it.

Running 205 front and 245 rear is a really good setup in an AP1 IMO. I had that with Hankook RS2 Z212's. Unfortunately however, not too many manufacturers make those sizes in 16's (at least for the top performing tires, which no long includes the Hankooks).
