NTB
Hi all,
I'm looking to get my alignment done and was wondering if there are differences between the various NTB shops in the Chicagoland area. I've seen a lot of posts that NTB Montgomery is good but I live downtown and was considering a closer location. Any comments or suggestions?
How does the 3 year plan work, is it you can only do it every 6 months or as many times as you want in 3 years. The pricing is is listed as 180 and I've seen people saying they got it for 135-155. Thanks!

Do you have a lowered vehicle? Are you looking to get specs outside of the what oem suggests?
I recently transferred a 3 year plan to another s2000 as they give you a one time transfer, so i didnt pay anything. I do believe the price is 180 now, and more shops have caught on to those who bring in their vehicles excessively so you have to choose wisely.
Youll need to call ahead to find those locations that can accommodate a lowered vehicle and one "cool" enough that will set your specs outside oem if desired.
Montogomery is one of those locations and so is antioch, il. I dont believe there is a limitation, but i do drop the car off or make an early appointment. I had an alignment done maybe 3 times last week and am going in for another soon.

I had this same issue living in the north suburbs of Chicago. There are a few places that can get it done, but I've had the best experience with NTB in Montgomery. I will drive out there time and time again just to make sure it's all correct.
I'm currently on my second 3 year plan with them and it's great. I have gotten 5 alignments done in one week. (Circa 2010 Hellaflush days) I went to Rolling Meadows and Montgomery. I've had multiple guys work on the S2000 and they're spot on with the alignment and let me stand next to see what they were doing. I don't know if Dave still currently works at the one at Rolling Meadows as i haven't been there for quite some time, but would be working on the Touge Factory cars there with no issue.
I'd highly recommend scheduling an early appointment, 8AM is what I always did, to get it done early, no issues with time, and no likely hood of reschedule. I once scheduled a noon, missed it by 10 minutes, and called and gave a notice, stayed a friends place down the block for a bit and had to reschedule for a different day because they couldn't get the current car off the rack.

I go to NTB Montgomery as well as a few others here and have never heard of that fee. However, I've always had a 3 year plan. Just make sure Jiro does your work. I've had the most success with him and always call ahead to make sure he's in the shop.

+1. Never had that or an issue with NTB in Montgomery, I've brought it there twice without hassle.
