I thought we were going to head towards Louisville this time? The route we talk last fall (leaving from Madison) was great.

If we can get someone to plan out that route, I'm all for that. We can do the madison drive again, it really doesn't matter to me.

FYI - See this thread for last fall's Madison run. The maps are gone and I'm not sure who actually routed them in the first place, but it was a good route (just need a better restaurant to start with).

Sounds good then. I suppose we can just find a place when we get down there.

I'll leave this up here and get some feedback today. If no one objects, we can make this official.

Looks like fun, count me in. Madison is about 3 hours from me, so it will be a full day of driving, but I get to go through Brown County on the way. I may be going solo, not sure if the wife is up for the trip.

Looks like an interesting drive. How many miles is it?

I believe it was around 60 or so. No real twisties until the end, where it's really hilly, and fun as heck.

The first 50 miles or so are right along the Ohio River, with one stop sign I remember and a lot of the slot machine queens heading to the Riverboat going 15mph under the speed limit.

Hopefully we can just meet up and drive. I don't remember any decent restaraunts in Madison other than that one that wasn't decent last year, plus I need to get back to my puppy at home, unless I can figure out a way to bring him along.

Dave, Madison is full of very good restaraunts. I'm guessing that you are talking about the Key West Shrimp House. What a big disappointment to me. The one we had on the south side of Indy was one of my favorite places and the food was fantastic. The one in Madison isn't worth a second trip, but there are many other good places in town.

I am in. This summer when we ran the Brown County roads and such I had a blast (and got airborne a few times). So, sign me up!
