Default Poor Viper owner..

I just watched a guy in the parking lot manually put up the roof on his 2005 Viper. Poor sap, I'm so glad my s2k's roof goes up with the touch of a button

Yeah, I just watched him pop the trunk, and I'm sitting here thinking.. "What the hell is he doing?" and then he grabs the roof and pulls it up to the windshield. I almost didn't believe what I was seeing!

Our convertible top unit only weighs a mere 13 pounds though. Less weight is better, yes, but most of us aren't cutting that much interior out of our car, that we care about a 13 pound motor.

If someone said to me "we can have your top be motorized for an extra 13lbs. I'd say count me in.

You forget about the top contruction as well, they would not need half the re-inforcement that have if it was a pull up.
