possibily sale of a 2000 S
hi all,
I might put my car on sale. looking to get a lotus elise.
2000 berlina black, with a silver hardtop.
here is what I have on this car:
ARC intake(box + chamber), single titanium exhaust, test pipe.
toda racing header, spec A2 camshaft, valve springs.
tein TYPE RA suspension
project Mu brake pads
cusco floor bar, front and rear braces, rear strut bar, type RS 2way LSD, oil catch can.
volk racing CE28 with yokohama advans tires.
bride zeta 3 racing seat.
defi EGT and oil pressure gauge
greddy emanage, no programming kit.
factory aero kit,
exedy hyper single clutch
43K miles, 12 K on the new block, 3 K on the new camshaft
oil change at every 3000 miles, change trans fluid every 6 month.
asking 29K.
29.5K with gram light 57C with pirelli pilot alpine winter tires.

well, this car is one of the better cornering S2000 out there, it can lap gingermen under 1:35, without R tires, it has over 15K worth of upgrade. very well maintained.

im sorry to hear that u r letting ur ride go... On the other hand, on lotus elise
i highly doubt anyone will take your car for $29k
part it out and sell the car for 19k or so

ok, if anyone is gonna take the car, I will include a set of TODA spec C camshaft with ti retainer. they will fit over the block. those cams are brand new, never installed.

with those times you should consider just racing that car... thats damn fast for street tires..
i have only hit a person best of 1:40xx on R tires

the cusco LSD helps A LOT, as well as playing around with spring rate. I can step on the gas a lot easier and harder than a stock S2K.
however, I am tired of FR now, just want to try out MR.
but again, 1:40 is not a bad time either.
