anyone know of a good place to get some wheels (ce28's) powder coated at? right now the only place i could really find was wheel america in arlington heights (www.fixrim.com). they charge $130 a wheel...just looking for a better price than that. if anyone knows a place let me know.

Wow....$130/wheel. That's almost double what they used to charge. Are you going through a store, or did you contact wheels America yourself.

Find out how much they charge if you go through a shop (something like a performace shop, or an autobody shop).

 

130 a wheel is a rip.

 

this is exactly what i thought...a little on the high side. i talked to them direct and they said the price is a flat rate to 1) repair any wheels that need to be repaired and 2) powder coat to any color and no limit on the amount of colors. i just think it's way too much to pay to have the wheels just powder coated, and im trying to figure out my options...


btw, my friend works at an autobody shop and they quoted him $120/wheel
