I thought that some of You might be interested in this.
If You don't know what project X is, its basically a shop that works on almost any car from LS1 Miatas, through sr20det Datsuns and s2000s as well(+many more)
Its run by Larry and Eli who are both awesome They are very well respected in Nissan community and You wont find anything but great reviews for them.
It would be good chance to see some cars that aren't usually at s2k meets and meet some new people!
You might also learn the legend behind Elis amazing beard.

Hey everyone, to celebrate the new season we are having a free BBQ at our shop in Glenview on Sunday May 15th. Everyone is welcome to come and stare in awe at the wonders of our hole in the wall shop, and debate the physics of how we actually get anything accomplished there!

Food will be traditional fare. We will also have some vegetarian options, so please PM me if you are vegetarian so we make sure we have enough.

I've got a friend who has had work done there on his 240s. Unfortunately, I'll be Vegas this weekend, but I've heard good things about the shop.

 

bumping this up, its looking good so far. 70+ people coming that I know of.

 

how long do you think people will stick around? I don't get off work till 7.
