Eugene, if you are running late the first stop will be Lone Oak winery at 11:00 a.m., followed by Sandhill Crane at noon.

We're all in for Burgdorf's as the final stop. There is always next year if we want to return to the original route.

Having the opportunity to put Sam to work just makes the choice so much easier, doesn't it?

Although the words German, park, and picnic are wonderfully appealing, I had to look up what they meant all together in a sentence like that. I had never heard of the the German Park picnic. Why? Has there been a sighting?

Ah, well since it is in your neck of the woods, and in previous years I've posted the possibility of a meet or quasi-meet at German Park Picnic, but there has never seemed to be any interest, I thought I might get a feeler going for the end of next month. I thought that maybe if you had been there before, you could also most certainly vouch for the event.

If anyone thinks they might be interested (it's just on the outskirts of Ann Arbor, family friendly, buckets of beer and wine too), let me know, and maybe we can meet up there.
