Default SE Michigan - Stir Crazy CARonavirus Social Distancing Meet - gauging interest?

Preliminary remarks:
  1. Hey, what's up, haven't been around these parts for a while, anyone here?
  2. Hope everyone is safe and doing well.
  3. I don't want to start any coronavirus controversy - if you have strong Covid-19 opinions, this is not the place to vent them...move along (that being said, there will be certain safety rules below).
Proposed place: 13 and Woodward, Royal Oak, MI - between Panera and Wahlburgers
Proposed date/time: tbd
Proposed rules:
  1. One parking space separation of vehicles.
  2. 6 foot social distancing of people at all times.
  3. No touching of other peoples shit (cars obviously included).
  4. If you have a fever or cough - stay the **** home.
  5. To maintain compliance with the law/emergency shelter in place orders:
    1. No more than 50 people in attendance (like that's ever gonna happen).
    2. Please patronize one of the nearby establishments (hopefully still open for take out), including New Order Coffee, Brown Iron, the aforementioned Panera or Wahlburgers, or even the grocery store if you prefer.
  6. Other than that, enjoy a bite to eat, talk from a safe distance, cruise down Woodward and take some pics.
If you'd be interested in something like this, please reply below (or wherever I cross post, when I get around to it).

Marc, if I didn't say so on Facebook somewhere, congrats to you and Jessica! Do you know/are you revealing whether you're expecting a boy or a girl? If you guys need anything - I know the first few weeks are pretty crazy - plus with everything else going on - don't hesitate to ask. We're starting to unload stuff as Roger grows out of it; so, I'll keep you in mind if you're interested in any of our hand-me-downs - especially if you have a boy.

I'm flexible on date/time - although, I understand that Baby Harris may not be as flexible!

This is a cool idea Kamron, because the need to counteract the stir crazy bit (especially as the weather gets warm & sunny) is for real

BUT, our 'fun' cars are still in storage mode until on or near the Memorial Day weekend.

A friend went to Bakers (Milford) last Sunday, and even though they are still officially closed there were many people who arrived in classic cars anyway.....to keep the tradition alive.

Apparently there was even a band that played!

We plan on swinging by on Sundays going forward to see what's happening, even if we have to drive a 'normal' car like the Focus ST

I went down to woodward last night in my z06, it was pretty darn busy. Wahlburgers parking lot was basically full. Plenty of people hanging out in lawn chairs just watching.
