It did for me, Im only 5'10".

Rollovers - I probably have an unhealthy concern about them. I was talking to a Miata owner at the Windy City Miata club's autox last week who told me he recently rolled his car. He came out relatively unscathed, surprising since the Miata's windshield frame isn't a structural member and he rolled 4 times.
This is in stark contrast to a relatively recent story about a couple of guys on a track in an Austin Healey who rolled his car when he got on the grass and tried to immediately get back on. They were both killed instantly!

I'm the exact same height. I will remember that if I ever find myself in that situation.

I've seen plenty of pictures of Miatas where the windshield frame is totally collapsed. I believe the new ones coming out have roll hoops like ours. Believe it or not Derf, your accident actually makes me feel safer in my S2K, so thanks!
you're not the only one who's glad you came out relatively unscathed
I agree that Miatas rock. Despite what some insecure people on this board feel, they are awesome in autocross, a true roadster in every sense of the word. BTW, where are all of you at these autox events? The Windy City Miata Club is a very friendly place for our S2K's. Three weeks ago at the CVO meet, there was only one other S...

is it supercharged yet?
Toyota hasn't released the TRD Supercharger for the tC and since I have my S back, maybe she needs a Supercharger instead of the tC.

I think a rollbar is in the near future for my Miata. Its just such a small car and my head is almost up to the windshield frame. If I rolled it, I would be in a world of shit.
That would be a great improvement for your Miata Geoff.I have also seen many photos of collapsed windshield frames on Miatas. The Honda windshield frame is pretty strong, however I have seen photos where they have collapsed during high speed rollovers.
