I got my rental car today when I turned in my S2000 to have the left side repainted. (some asswipe keyed the car)

The rental? A brand new 2005 dodge caravan sxt. let the beating commence....

Good choice, I had a Pontiac Montana for 3 days it had 15 miles on it when I got it, by the time I brought it back the trans was slipping from all the neutral drops.

I dropped the trannny on a brand new eddie bauer aerostar doing that back in the day.

last year the dodge minivan i took to naias held up well going from full throttle reverse to drive

I think some newer cars have protection against doing transmission drops like that. I tried it on a pontiac or something from like 3k. It just drops the rpm and puts it in gear. They should build every rental car like this.

I remember they gave me a buick regal once, the trans was shot, and the check engine light was on when i took it back. But the smile on my face was worth it.
