...sigh...
Well ive been pretty out of it for the past week. Last wednesday, (1-24-07) i was driving to work goin about 55-60mph on somewhat of a highwayish road and something blew on the car, i dont know if it was suspension wise or what the deal was but suddenly i was losing control of my car. It swerved into oncoming traffic and so i yanked the sterring wheel to the right so i wouldnt hit anyone. The car did a 180 and my drivers door hit a tree, if that wasnt enough it bounced off the tree and flew into a ditch as both of my airbags deployed... I was just grateful that i did not hit anyone in oncoming traffic because it was rush hour and i would not be sitting here today, guarenteed.
Heres a few pix from the sceen of the accident:

Under closer observation at the junk yard...

And the last view i see of my car before it got taken to the insurance companies junkyard...

The other night i had to be taken to the Emergency Ward because i had horrible pains in my back and ever since i have been kinda couped up at home. Today i got to take my hardtop, radio, sirius, speakers and some other misc. pieces outta the car before the insurance company takes the car to thier junkyard, for someone to buy the car and try n restore it...
Its not all bad news tho, ever since i crashed the car ive been test drivin all kinds of cars, sti's, evos, g35s. all are nice but i decided to go with another s2000. i mean cmon i loved this car to death. Hopefully by this weekend this one will be in my garage

I already put a security deposit down on it, an 04 Silverstone. Its only got 20k miles as well and it'll look as good if not better than the old one.
Scary thing is, i was looking at my bill of sale for the car, i bought the car on 1-24-06. exactly 1 year and i got in an accident the same day.
So soon i will have my Volk Gold GT-Cs up for sale, but i know what all of you are asking, yes im keeping the hardtop and repainting it. heh just thought id throw it out there cuz i know itd be asked

Glad to hear you're ok.
Libertyville is a good place to deal with. I almost traded in my S there for an M3. They sell and have quite a few S2k's there at all times.
about the backpains, I'd recommend seeing a chiropractor for a bit to help ease the tension in your back. After my accident I didn't feel to bad initially after the soreness went down. But later on down the road I got cramping pains in my lower back and neck. I don't think the chiro solved it per se, but it did help to ease the pain and helped relax the muscles. Plus your insurance should cover the expenses of that(if you have medical payments coverage).
