didn't bother me nor the chic. ymmv. your ass usually smells worse than the test pipe.

burning? thats not a bad smell. relatively.

anybody else got a different smell?

i can probably stand a mechanical stink, but a nasty organic odor....

BAD. but that wasnt teh part that made me take it off. it was the consequences of getting caught in CA. a few 1-2 HP/tq isnt worth the 1k+ fine IMO.

well i plan on tacking on a factory cat heatshield so if anyone looks under it they see what seems to be a catalyst converter.
only thing im worried about is any afterburn peeping out the tailpipe.
i would be keeping the factory resonator and mufflers.
would that keep the afterburn down?

afterburn, when unburnt fuel in the exhaust is finally ignited when it exits the tailpipe.

what most people call backfire.
