Something To Look Forward To
For you folks coming in on Saturday early, there's a great auto performance parts store along the way. You may already know of it but, in case you don't. . . give yourself a treat and check out their goodies, cause they have everything for the 'racers'... seats, helmets, low aluminum jacks, Redline products, Deep Purple products, etc., etc. They are primarly geared toward circle track racer's but don't let that stop you. The store's about the size of city block and located just a few feet south of I-94 on exit 41 which is also directly south of South Haven.

Great time. Humbling as well. We had a nice turnout of S2000's for the track event. 13 in total with all the colors represented: 6 silverstone silver's, 1 sebring silver, 2 red's, 1 yellow, 1 black, 1 white, and 1 blue. The weather co-operated with no rain and even some sunshine from time to time. From what I could tell, Mike was laying down the best times of the day with runs in the 1:37's !! He was flying. A special thanks to Scott Ahlgrim for trying to show this old fart the proper line - and also congrat's for finishing 7th this year with his brother driving a Vette in One Lap of America.
I'm looking forward to the next one, Harry & Scott - whenever. BTW Harry, didn't anyone ever tell you that you are not supposed to be that aggressive driving at your age!

Great Event!!
Thanks to the S2KCA and the Alfa Club for putting on an awesome event.
As mentioned - tech takes longer than you think and a PA system (and backup) helps a ton.
The test and tune session on Sat night was awesome too - there were only about 5-7 cars out on the track.
Ralph's 630hp Viper was the highlight of my day. The sensation of being about ready to leave the ground was pretty cool.
Thanks to all the organizers.

I had a great time meeting and sharing the track with everyone on sunday! Everyone was very nice and it was nice to be at an event (for once) where no one balled up their cars! hehe.
According to my hot-lap I ran 6 or 7 high 136's with 136.68 being the fastest for the day I believe. Thats my fastest at gingerman yet and Im pretty sure it is that magic shift knob Harry gave me! Harry, I owe you big time! Next time your in town let me take you out to dinner or something.
Hope to see you all again soon
