Come on, let those guys be. I really get bothered with people poking fun of other people for their "modding". To the guy in the tiburon and neon, their cars are their prized posession and they're proud of what they drive. So what if they have tons of mods that don't do jack, atleast they're trying to be different and expressing their style. So, don't knock on them, there's probably thousands of guys driving good old american muscle cars that laugh when we park next to them at autozone.

I am very much aware of the style of your writing. That's why i responded the way I did. Plus it seems like all you talk about is how great a 4.57 is and it makes the car launch like its being pushed by the "hand of god". Also you keep bringing up topics like "ricer srt4 burns his clutch" or "i saw this ricer at autozone with this crap and that crap". Do you really need to be constantly reminded that you drive an "awesome car with reduction gears". Its just a car, be happy with it and stop making everyone else look like asses.

i just realized my "lighten up" post came off harsh sounding. I should have used a smiley or something.

There is nothing wrong with posting threads that I find interest in, such as the SRT4 burning his clutch, or my story here. And I don't ever recall saying my car "launched as if pushed by the hand of god" or some other BS. If I was driving a corolla, I would have still posted this story exactly as written. It has nothing to do with some reassurance of what I drive.

If you don't like my thread, then move on to another. No need to sit here and pick a fight with me, nor put words into my mouth, nor over-analyze the thread with some self-percepted emotional deficiency.

seriously. you are reading way too much into this and taking some personal offense for some reason. if it bothers you that much, don't read or respond.

Your story doesn't get enough attention in the less than moronic street encounters you bring it here to share.
