I thought Sushi was Japanese, not Chinese.

Yes, sushi is japanese. Sushi is derived from two words "Su" meaning vinegar and "meshi" meaning rice. In the edo era (I believe) they would take vinegared rice since it stored better than regular rice. The only people that were able to eat sushi were the higher ranking people. I thought I'd imput some useless japanese knowledge there. Getting back to topic, the sushi place is in the mall with the tower records and the chinese joint is across the street by toys r us. I've eaten at the chinese restaurant but haven't eaten at the sushi place.

I could do that, but just to be clear. We are going for Chinese, NOT Sushi, right?

I'd like to go, but if it's this friday I cant, I already have to work late Fri. night.

Also, if anyone is afraid of the word *Sushi* there is no need to be, it has a bad stereotype of being "Raw Fish" only. There's plenty to eat in a sushi place besides raw fish. I was leary on it too until I tried it. I am a fan now
